CorasWorks to Host Half-day Seminars on Project Portfolio Management
for SharePoint
July Seminars Include Dallas, Houston, Boston
Reston, VA – July 13, 2010 - CorasWorks Corporation, a leading provider of business solutions and applications on Microsoft SharePoint, will host three half-day seminars on its popular Project Portfolio Management (PPM) solution this month. The seminars are open and free to the public and will be held at Microsoft’s offices.
Seminar locations include:
- Dallas, Tex. - Tues., July 20 from 1-5pm
- Houston, Tex. - Wed., July 21 from 1-5pm
- Boston, Mass. - Wed., July 28 from 9am-noon
Those attending the seminars will get a first-hand look at the CorasWorks PPM solution for Microsoft SharePoint and how organizations are:
- Managing, tracking and reporting against individual projects to ensure they are on time and on budget
- Tracking project schedules with interactive Gantt charts that integrate with MS Project
- Visualizing data with risk maps, charts/graphs and calendars
- Leveraging dashboards for project KPIs and reporting
- Accessing projects from any mobile device.
In addition, each seminar will cover other aspects of project portfolio management, including:
- The PMO, where users ensure they are investing in the right projects and then tracking those projects at a higher level
- Creating portfolios of projects so users can group and manage projects from specific locations, divisions, departments or functions.
